What is breast cancer?
Cancer is a disease where the body’s cells multiply more rapidly than normal. This uncontrolled increase in the number of cells results in a lump which is known as a tumor. What is cervical cancer?
The cervix is made up of millions of tiny cells. Sometimes changes occur and abnormal cells develop, known as cervical dysplasia, also called cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). CIN can be graded into CIN I, CIN II and CIN III. These are not cancer. However, if left untreated these calls may later develop into cancer. With regular Pap tests, these early changes will be detected and treated before cancer has a chance to develop.
There are two main types of cervical cancer. The most common type starts in the skin-like cells of the cervix (the squamous cells) and is called squamous cell carcinoma. Less common and more difficult to detect is a type of cervical cancer which starts in the glandular cells, known as adenocarcinoma.
Cervical cancer can also be microinvasive or invasive.

Good blood circulation of the capillaries - without functional disorder - leaves no way for the cancerous cell to settle down and position itself. The cell will then be killed by the immunocyte (the immunity cell).
